Chris got his start working with pro audio gear while "running sound" for a church band in Huntsville. From there he became interested in karaoke hosting and started doing professional karaoke and stage-lighting gigs. Starting around 2009, Chris combined his sound-technician, lighting, MCing, and music mixing skills to begin specializing as an event DJ, meaning that he is at ease working with sound systems and lighting rigs of all sizes, enjoys hosting events as MC, and has a knack for reading a crowd and mixing music from all different genres. Chris lives in Muskoka, but has played events all across southern Ontario. He is also a Ph.D. ecologist, author, and outdoor enthusiast, so when not researching music, he can often be spotted near a lake, often accompanied by his bike or longboard.
